China has launched a new micro-inverter series
This new micro-inverter series from Beny Electric has a 97.5 per cent efficiency and a European efficiency of up to 97 per cent. 550 VA, 700 VA, and 2,800 VA micro-inverters are offered in three distinct configurations.
Zhejiang Beny Electric Co., Ltd., a Chinese inverter manufacturer, has just released micro-inverters for residential and commercial PV systems.
To meet your specific needs, you may choose from three different models of micro-inverters, each with an output power rating ranging from 550 to 2,800 volt-amperes (VA). We learnt that the smaller micro-inverters could be linked to a single panel while the larger ones could be connected to four panels at once. It is possible to accomplish maximum power point tracking (MPPT) at the module level with our microinverters so that overall output power may be optimized by optimizing the output power of each module.”
Solar modules with a power range of 400 W to 670 W are compatible with the BYM550, the device with the shortest power range. An efficiency rating of 97 per cent in Europe and 97.5 per cent in the U.S. distinguishes it from the competition. There are 210x230x34mm dimensions and 2.38kg weight. Each thread may link up to ten units.
A middle-sized inverter, the BYM700 can handle panels from 450 W to 750 W in the power output range. It has a 97.5 per cent efficiency rating, which is higher than the European average of 97 per cent. In terms of weight and dimensions, it measures 2.38 kilograms (210x230x34 millimetres). It can link up to eight devices on a single string.
Using solar modules with a power output of 450 W to 750 W, the BYM2800 is the biggest micro-inverter. Efficiencies are comparable to the BYM550 product.
With a maximum DC input voltage of 60 V and a short-circuit current of 24 A, the MPPT voltage range for all devices is 24-50 V, with an operating voltage range of 16.56 V. They all have an MPPT effectiveness of 99.8% and a nighttime power usage of fewer than 100 milliwatts, as well. Devices with an IP67 rating and a natural convection cooling system are also available.
A 25-year performance warranty and a 10-year product warranty are both provided by the manufacturer for all of the series’ micro-inverters in this particular model.
There are 30 GW of yearly inverter capacity in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, with Beny Electric. It also has offices in the United States, Germany, and Brazil.
