Everything I know about the Samsung Galaxy A53 so far is included in this list.

Samsung Galaxy A53

Date of release

Early 2022

Geekbench’s listing hints that we may see the Samsung Galaxy A53 sooner than later after reports that the smartphone has begun production at Samsung’s Noida facility.

Rumors about a release date have been floating about for a while now, but it hasn’t been confirmed. Even so, we should anticipate seeing Samsung’s Galaxy A53 sometime in early 2022. At the earliest, the Galaxy A52 will be released in March of 2021.

Display

In-display fingerprint sensor with a 6.5-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display

An AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate is likely on the Samsung Galaxy A53. Unlike the Galaxy S21 line, its refresh rate isn’t likely to be adjustable. In-display fingerprint sensors are also expected to be part of the design.

Design

Similar to the Galaxy A52
The new colorway has been refined.

Galaxy A53 is expected to have a similar design as the Galaxy A52, with a punched-hole camera at the top of its display and a quad-camera setup on its left-hand side.

According to the images, the A53 appears to feature a more seamless camera housing that better integrates with the back and more polished edges. The headphone jack is also missing.

In addition to white, black, blue, and orange, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is said to be available. Like the A52, it is believed to have an IP67 water and dust resistance, and it is claimed to be 8.14mm thick, which is somewhat thinner than the A52.

Hardware specifications

6GB of RAM/128GB of storage 5000mAh battery powered by Exynos 1200/Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G

A new Exynos 1200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor will power Samsung’s Galaxy A53. There will be a 5G variant this time, according to reports.

ACCORDING TO A BENCHMARK TEST, galaxy A53 is expected to include 6GB of RAM and a storage capacity of at least 128GB. For now, it’s unclear how much of an impact the A52’s microSD expansion will have on the future of the device.

The Galaxy A53 will likely include a 5000mAh battery instead of the current 4500mAh cell. Support for fast charging should be included as well.

Camera

64-megapixel primary sensor | Quad rear camera

According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is expected to include a quad-rear camera like its predecessor and a primary camera of 64 megapixels.

Rumors haven’t revealed any further camera details, but the Galaxy A52 has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and 5-megapixel depth sensor. There’s also a 32-megapixel camera on the front.
